Do you know how much alcohol is in your 6-pack?

Do you know how much alcohol is in your 6-pack?

"ABV" refers to Alcohol by Volume. It is a measurement of how much alcohol (ethanol) is contained in an alcoholic beverage. How much pure alcohol is in the beer you drink? Check out the graphics below to learn!

5% ABV Beer

A six pack of 5% ABV beer, for example, has the equivalent alcohol of six shots of 80 proof whiskey.

Non-Alcoholic Beer

The U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) defines "non-alcoholic" (NA) malt beverages as having less than 0.5% ABV.

One six pack of NA may contain up to the equivalent alcohol of a little over 1/2 shot of 80 proof whiskey.

Alcohol-Free Beer

Alcohol-free, per the TTB, has no detectable trace of alcohol. Not even in an entire six pack.

Ceria beers are truly alcohol-free (0.00% ABV). Cheers!
